Saris made with Kyo Yuzen Dyeing

Indian women skillfully wrap a long piece of cloth called a sari around their bodies to create a beautiful national costume. The sari, a Sanskrit word meaning long, thin cloth, is the pride of Indian women and a symbol of India's rich diversity.
The Saris made with Kyo Yuzen Dyeing is a cross between such a sari and Kyo Yuzen, the elegant culture of Kyoto with its beautiful, vivid colours.
It is similar to the Japanese kimono in the sense that a square piece of cloth is worn, but unlike the kimono, where the main design is on the front, the design is draped over the left shoulder to create a gorgeous point at the back.
